Purple Lovers Anonymous Table

Debbie at Confessions of a Plate Addict did this gorgeous flower pot wreath that totally inspired me. I couldn't stop thinking about it.... so off to Michael's I went, 40% off coupon in la' purse.

and here is mine....LOVE the way it turned out...I stopped myself from filling it up, because before I added more terra cotta pots, I was already in love with it.

Which was a good thing, because I was naïve enough (or just plain blonde) to think I was going to get out of Michael's only twenty dollars poorer, but uhhh it didn't turn out that way. 

Soon as I saw the "Good" silk hydrangeas all my clearance aisle silk flowers, went back on the shelf. And when I saw the birdhouse? POOF! there went my $20 goal, but it was worth it. All of Ashland's silk and decor was 40% off!

I met this wonderful lady at the checkout...(have to tell you about her!) She wanted to know what I was going to do with all the terra cotta pots and I told her ...she says: "Oh, you're one of those creative types"....I had to laugh!

and just to get your weekend started off REALLY right....here is my latest tablescape with more purple dishes (shocking right?)

I got the purple dishes last week at Big Lots! Can ya believe it?

Alycia was so right, I had to photograph this setting 3 different times to find the right light for this eggplant purple color...it comes across as almost black in some light and blue in others.

and of course Thursday was the first day in over a week that we even saw the sun!

The purple candlesticks, and jars I got years ago at Hobby Lobby (clearance aisle of course), the napkins and table runners are from Tuesday Morning and the cream dishes are from Pier One.
