Have you seen these?
They are called Caff Seramiche Dishes
You used to be able to find them at Neiman Marcus...
They're a mere $225.00 for 4 dinner plates; they are a teensy bit out of my price range. Unless I sell a kidney. Which the longer I stare at them, the more I'm considering it.
Oh and the gorgeous charger? Its pewter, stunning and $300. EACH. So needless to say I have purple on the brain today and had to use what I have.
The burlap table runner I got from Home Depot. It's landscape fabric! I have seen quite a few blogs now sharing this secret. I got 3 feet wide by 24 feet long for $13.00!
(it's usually located close to the mulch...and here's a tip: Don't call it burlap, cuz I confused the hell out the 19 year old clerk by doing that....if a clerk asks if you need any help, just say "No, Christine told me right where they are...next to the mulch")

That beats the craft stores (who I will not mention cuz I don't want to piss them off, they'll see me coming and start marking things up)
I did make the fringe tassels...I simply cut the runner to the desired length, and pulled some strings (literally) until I had a good 12" of frayed ends....and then grabbed 5 to 6 ends and knotted them.
Easy peasy...took me 45 minutes total. (using my valley girl voice) Sooo totally can't wait to make another one...
I've almost got those Caff Ceramiche "Sirma" dishes out of my mind now....
But I did save the link in my favorites, on Pinterest and printed it to a PDF file, just in case someone ever needs a gift idea for moi!
A girl can dream!
Enjoy your day!
XO,
Christine
