Adding Fall Touches to the backyard Patio space.
While I have been decorating for Fall today my mind has been operating like a pinball machine...
I'm on the front porch, back patio, in the entry, living room....ya ever have days like that?
I started with a fall garland (which BTW is still waiting to be hung up) and then got sidetracked by sunlight, yes sunlight.
It's here! We had a nice rainy day yesterday, which watered my garden for me...but we never saw the sun.

My plan was to take pictures yesterday of my back patio but Mother Nature had other ideas.
As I was working on my garland this morning....out she popped, so Hi, my name is sidetracked.
The pumpkins inside the lanterns came from a dollar store (dollar general I think?) Lanterns are Pier One, the floral picks in the center inside the window box are garage sales/thrift stores/Walmart. The larger orange/green pumpkins glued to clay pots are Walmart...
Janine, Aimee and I scored big time when we went shopping..
The twig pumpkin was a Thrift store score for fifty cents...I almost thought there was going to be an argument over it...I had it in my hand and heard a stranger say "well if you hadn't grabbed it"...
but I did :-)

Lets bounce on up to the front porch...I added a few fall touches there too...
These orbs hubby made me from something called Pallet Banding
they uses it to bind parts and other items to pallets for shippingI slipped in some old dryer vent pumpkins because I figured they could stand up to the outdoors. The orbs are actually starting to rust a bit....yeah, patina! I simply just hot glued whatever leftover bits interested me...a brown metal knob, rope, a silk leaf to the center of the painted dryer vents.
Bounce....living room!
The burlap flower is Hobby Lobby
the books, pumpkin and cake stand are from the thrift store.
I found an adorable picture frame that spoke to me so it went on my front door. The owl is actually a garden stake I bought at Old Time Pottery. I had hubby cut off the stake and added a fall sprig
Taa Daa!
or should I say; where are my boots...The weather has cooled down tremendously & the wind has been howling outside and here I am bouncing around in my flip flops with freezing tootsies.
Time to pull out the Fall clothes, shoes and handbags
Bounce!
