Holiday Dining Room Tour
It's snowing outside....yeah! It has been feeling like winter here for about 3 weeks with night time temps being around 20...but with snow on the ground, now it really feels like I need to finish my holiday shopping...
Oh, don't worry I only have a few things left...I am proud of how well I did this year. Each year I start earlier and earlier.
Are you a last minute shopper or do you start early too?
I had my antique toolbox on my table but I wasn't feeling it...
so in the basement I went to get my ever so faithful evergreen table runner I use every year.
This is just 2 old faux tree limbs wired together and a few goodies wired/dropped in...
I am excited to show my dining room this year, if you check last years photos when the walls were still purple the whole room was intimate and cozy...
Ok dark and moody were the words I used but cozy sounds better doesn't it?
If this room was big enough I swear I'd put a fireplace in here....
If you hear a loud thud that was hubby falling out of his chair after he heard that. Followed by his usual response
Uhh, just where do you think you are going to put that?
Followed by my standard response of:
Anywhere I want
The gold harp below was a thrift store find. I think it's actually meant for magazines, but I put white plates inside it...
I almost painted it silver but I have gold in my Dining Room, so she'll stay gold for a while...
If you noticed the twinkle lights that google plus added for me....when I uploaded my pic's to my album before I created my post....
I thought Santa did it for me....I never did it, I swear! But I did get a notification from google for those of you who would like more info...

Christmas Dinner is at my house this year since my sister was sweet enough to host Thanksgiving. That might even turn into a tradition, instead of me doing both Holidays...
So I'm sure I will be doing another tablescape for Christmas Eve Dinner

Christine
