Black and White Color Scheme in the Master Bedroom. A fresh start for a design disaster.
I will flat out admit it. I could not get the paint color right in this room for years. This room has been painted and re-painted 4 times. So I finally started fresh with a total overhaul of white paint.
Every where!
I'm still not done. The windows and closets need some paint and I need a new rug. But I'm close.
When the bed is made I actually walk in this room
and smile instead of seeing a long "Why didn't
you do this" list.
Here is the rundown on it:
Headboard - Pier One (7 years ago)
Every nightstand and dresser is an antique or
thrift store find
Black and White Quilt - Dollar General (yes a
dollar store!)
Pink throw - Target
Pink pictures – Target
Large heart picture - Burlington Coat Factory (it used to be in my LR)
Black Lantern - Pier 1
White Lantern - Old Time Pottery
White Heart scrolly thing - HomeGoods
Hot Pink scrolly wall art - Hobby Lobby
Black and White Art - Dollar General
A lot of the Knick knacks I pulled from other rooms
I still have new baseboard trim and electrical
outlets to buy, but this will do until my next
home improvement store run.
Now I can smile.....
