Time for a Fall tour in my Home
Well it's a balmy 52 degrees here and the trees are turning colors and so is the interior of my home. The wonderful thing about my love for the color purple...is it goes so well with Fall. This year I am trying to expand my horizons and explore the amazing choices of orange, mustard and rust. Ok, yes....... they compliment purple beautifully, but let's just stick with the theory that I am exploring new colors.
I did a simple but stuffed to the gills centerpiece on the coffee table. This is probably the "busiest" I am going to get as far as decorating for the Autumn season.
This year I am going for the "less is more approach" with just a few touches here and there.
I found a gorgeous throw and pillow while out browsing one day...The wingback chair gets a lot of use. I am still in love ith the dye job she got. If you missed how to dye a wingback chair you can view the tutorial
In my entry I just added a couple of owls and two ceramic pumpkins and called it a day...My thought was the less I do, the easier it is to dust.
Isn't that a key ingredient in seasonal decor?
Yeah I know....it's not. But simple is. So I am staying with simple and easy.
I am still in love with these ceramic pumpkins with the purple metal leaves. Every year I try and pick up 2 more to add to my collection.
Well that ends my quick Fall peek into the living room and entry way...
Hope you enjoyed it!
