I set a glittery tablescape this year for Christmas.
Using silver, gold and whites to me.... is a timeless way to sit down for the holidays and share a beautiful meal with family and friends.
There isn't going to be too much chit chat
from me on this post. Except to point out the highlights of where some of the
items on my table came from....
So grab your favorite beverage and let's
all take a few minutes to relax and take that much needed break.
The glass ornaments came from the
clearance aisle in Tuesday Morning a few years ago, and the two larger ornaments
in candle holders are from TJ Maxx.
Table runner, white square dishes and the
silver ones (made with real silver) - HomeGoods
Gold Silverware - garage sale
Wine glasses – HomeGoods
Silver angels - Thrift store
Little silver glitter christmas trees -
Big Lots (clearance aisle this year)
Dining Table (Flat iron model) -
Restoration Hardware
Two end chairs - TJ Maxx
2 White side chairs and bench –
HomeGoods
I always see a lot of beautiful holiday
dishes in the stores. But until I saw these silver ones....I never wanted to buy
any of them.
So these definitely got snatched up real
quick!
Timeless is the word that I'd use to
describe them....so they're keepers!
I tried some of my different chargers to
work with the silver, but the only thing I finally liked was the large square
white dishes.
I think this is going to be one of my
favorite Holiday Tablescapes. but I say that every year!
I think steakhouse fare is going to look
really good on this table this year...
I am serving my traditional Prime Rib
Roast along with baked potatoes, macaroni and cheese muffins served in
prosciutto cups, roasted corn.
For dessert we are having Individuals red
velvet cake trifles (my sister), and 2 different types of individual cheesecakes
- peanut butter and chocolate mint.
My mouth is watering already!
What do you serve for your main holiday
feast?
Wishing all of you and your family a safe
and wonderful Holiday
XO,
Christine
