Hello Friends! Do you remember me saying I don't have a lot of Blue in my house?
Well I think I have remedied that! This Fall Season I wanted to spice it up and add a hit of blue to my Fall Decor in some areas.
So I chalk painted a couple of knick knacks and some cheap plastic pumpkins to add the cool blue tones I needed. Have to say I am loving the cool factor going on with the rusty browns and purple.
Not bad for a four dollar jar of chalk paint!
The blue chalk paint I used is called Glacier and I got it at JoAnn Fabrics with a coupon no less!
The other knick knacks I painted are going on my front porch.
But showing you my porch may take a couple of weeks. Ya'll know how I tweak things over and over before I finally call it done!
The blue dishes were found at HomeGoods last year and they literally are the only blue ones I own.
Considering I own about 24 different sets of dishes, I find that ironic.
I added several different types of pumpkins to this centerpiece. I've got plastic, solid wood, grapevine, ceramic. Lots of fun texture and colors going on!
I simply just used what I already had on hand. I admit it whenever I see a group of gorgeous mercury pumpkins I want to buy all of them.
But my wallet says a big fat mean no. So I will just have to keep coming up with ways to use what I have!
I hope everyone has a great day!
