Casual Dinner Party |
Every fall I always have the urge to fill my antique toolbox up as use it as a centerpiece.
So this year I used hydrangeas as a filler for it.
Once I had the toolbox filled with dried hydrangeas, I really felt like it needed a pop of blue.
So out came the cobalt blue glasses.
The chargers and tan colored dishes are from Pier One.
Also, just a quick note. If you'd like to shop this look, Pier One is offering my subscribers free shipping on orders over $49 dollars. So don't be afraid to get this look for the holidays at Pier One.
I've got two benches on either side of my dining table, but lately they have been irritating me.
Benches make for such a great look, but they don't match, which has been bugging me to no end!
So I have been on the hunt for something new. It occurred to me that chairs always seem to come up on my wish list especially late fall.
Then I figured out why. The holidays are coming. People in and out, family is here.
People want to sit down and have a meal or open their presents.
So don't be surprised if you see a new post this week about what I found while browsing!
Getting back to my table, the antlers were found at a flea market, the toolbox was found at an Antique Mall.
The placemats that I rolled up and inserted inside are from Bed Bath & Beyond.
Today I have some errands to run and about 60 bulbs to get planted.
One of the perks I have been getting since I started shopping at Costco.
Bulk flower buying! I am so excited about seeing a huge group of tulips in my front yard, so I need to finish my coffee and get to that!
Have a great day!
XO,
