Halloween Party Ideas | Holiday Entertaining for Halloween |
With Oingo Boingo's song playing in my earbuds I am really getting in the Halloween Spirit. This is one of my all time favorite songs and if you could see my playlists in ITunes you'd know it wasn't a trick.
I don't know what it is with the song "Dead Man's Party", but after hearing it?
I want to go buy 100 plastic snakes and make a medusa style headband and just wear it.
Every. Single. Day.
That'd be fun wouldn't it?
Can you picture me trolling down the grocery aisles in Costco, with black fingernails, normal makeup (which for me is mascara and that's it) and a snakes coming out of my blonde hair?
I wouldn't have to worry about getting hit by the grocery cart natzi's.
People would get out my way!
I used the same dishes I had on the table from a previous tablescape. I (again) wanted to prove that one could get done without a ton of fuss.
I added some black and copper colored pumpkins and have some skeletons guarding the centerpiece.
The smoky glasses were found at a flea market a couple of years ago, or maybe it was a thrift store. It's one of those purchases I made and they got put away in a kitchen cabinet and forgot about.
My brain is all about Medusa right now and that would take too much brain power to remember where they came from.
There are so many great ideas going through my head to be able entertain guests that if I did a new table every day?
My family would be eating takeout. There'd be no time to do that silly task of actually cooking for your family.
Sheesh, we live right in restaurant mecha, so it's not like they'd starve.
Medusa or the Headless Horseman?
That'd be so cool!
Think about it. I find a beat up plastic four foot tall carousel horse and spray paint it flat black and drop it right on my table and yell ta da!
So many ideas and not enough time.
Yet!
If you're getting inspired to BOO me with your creative ideas, don't forget the Halloween Tablescape party coming this wednesday October 12th.
Have a great week.
XO,
