Entertaining for Christmas |
Red Red Red!
I laughingly call this tablescape Rudolph because of the pops of red I used. The little ornaments are just popping off the table, just like that cute little deer's nose.
Watching that movie every year gives me such a child like feeling that for me, well, lasts all through the holidays.
And right onto my dining table.
I used a rusty tub as a vase and inserted a battery operated tree and some faux greenery.
I wanted to use fresh but this year I am having a hard time finding any!
I laugh and tell people there must be another blogger living in my neck of the woods buying it up.
I bought the red ornaments a couple of weeks ago. I have been wanting to add this color to a tree every year, so when I saw these for the bargain basement price they were?
I snatched them up. Next year if red enters it's way onto a tree or my porch I have a good start!
I left a tablecloth or a nice runner off the table, for easy cleanup.
Also because of my love of my dining room table!
The wood showing through is the best part and I feel truly blessed to have it.

If you're new to my blog and want to read more about it you read New RH Dining Table.
If you pop over to read that you'll also get a look at how my dining room used to look like. It's amazing what some different chairs will do!
I hope this post finds you in good holiday spirits and puts some Ho Ho Ho into your day.
A reminder - the Dishing It & Digging It Link Party will go live this SATURDAY at 7 am EST time because of the Christmas Holiday.
XO,
