Easter 2017 is almost upon us, so I thought I would set the table for entertaining for adults.
While out shopping today, I saw tons of great Easter Egg Dye Kits for kids. It was hard not to buy each one,
just for test purposes mind you.
My kids are all grown up in their twenties now, so I will have to freely admit I miss some the kid activities.
Plus there are some great organic ways to dye eggs now! I even saw some extra large golden eggs for sale.
Now those were hard to pass up. I thought they were fun. Greg on the other hand, just rolled his eyes. He was more impressed with the new array of Easter baskets for boys. Spider man, Hulk, Transformers, you name it this store had it.
But hey, when the kids were little, my tables consisted of a lot of sippy cups and plastic plates.
So I am learning to love being an empty nester.

For this adult table I broke out the orange fire king and stacked it with a white and a purple plate. No fuss, no frills, just simple quick and easy dining.
I borrowed the concrete bunnies that reside on my front porch to hang out in the centerpiece.
I used purple ikat placemats stacked together as a table runner.
Not exactly sure yet what we will be doing this weekend, but weather permitting hopefully gardening will be involved or a backyard BBQ
Have a great day!
P.S. A update on me. I am still a non smoker. Yes ladies and gentlemen I did it, I have not had one cigarette since February 11th.
I quit smoking! I'm quite proud of that fact, it was easier in some ways and also harder in others.
But I did it!
