Hi guys!
I am escaping the outdoors today for a bit. I want to take some time to chill and enjoy my gardening hard work.
So I picked a few flowers from my garden and am pretending my doors won't open.
Just to stop myself from doing any type of chores outside.
That whole weeding and cutting back thing can get annoying after awhile.
But I keep telling my gardener self to shaddup, because once Christmas is over? I am going to be wishing I was doing this.
So this is me, trying to enjoy one day where I am not doing any kind of chore.
Sort of like an anti cleaning day. Or a national dust day, where dust can reign supreme.
At least for today, tomorrow is another story.
I am happy to have gardens front and back where I can just walk out clippers or scissors in hand and go get some fresh flowers to have around the house.
But it's hard to cut them. Do you find that true for you too? I keep thinking "Ok, don't cut too much, or your garden is going to look dead."
If I am the only one who thinks that way, then I must need a bigger garden with more blooms.
But I don't think I have ever met a fellow gardener who thought the had enough garden beds.
I have been thinking that maybe next year I should do a raised bed, strictly for cutting.
But I am not sure my backyard is big enough. I have a reminder set to explore this more when I am stuck in the house during winter.
After seeing this pretty floral arrangement, I am thinking I need to find the room.
Or tear down a house next door.
Kidding, just kidding!
Even though if I did, our view would definitely improve. I did head out today and find some really cool scores at a local Thrift Store "Paws" which donates its proceeds to shelter animals.
So stay tuned to see what goodies I found!
Have a great day!
