Creating a fall tablescape today with lots of texture using brown, purple and white.

All of this seems so ironic to me though. Especially considering it snowed here yesterday.

If you're yelling that it is too early, I am right there with ya. It didn't accumulate, but it sure was shocking to walk outside and get hit with snow.

Home Depot is still selling mums, so you can see the irony I hope. Especially since I almost bought more plants. They have perennials for 5 bucks! Hydrangea shrubs....5 bucks!

 If I wasn't deep in planning mode for the holidays and "past" Gardening, I would have literally loaded up the truck,

I have had these napkins so long I almost forgot where I bought them. It was Pier 1 many years ago. I always try to use them, but the pattern doesn't always work well. I think these have literally been washed once, that's how much they've been used.

I used two different placemats. I have been thinking about seeing if these two would work.

I guess any of them probably would, right?

If you know of a prayer that will keep snow at bay for a couple more weeks please say one for me. 

 Not sure I am used to driving my new car yet. I have almost gotten out of it 3 times and forgot to turn it off! The turbo is awesome but when you drive something for 12 years and then buy a new one, everything is so different now. I remember that I don't use a key to turn it on and off, but I forget that I have to push the start/stop button. Greg thinks it's hysterical.
