Decorating my Dining room for the holidays is usually one of my favorite things to do. Is there anything more festive then a gorgeous dining table for a tablescaper?
That is usually what gets me inspired to decorate my dining room, the table. I always try to outdo what I did the past year.
I did neutrals in our Living Room, Red and Black in our Master Bedroom, so it seemed realistic to finish this season off with my usual favorite color purple. I added white and silver too for some glitz. One day I may have enough ornaments to have the same color theme throughout my entire house but I doubt it.
I like the tree so much I may go back for a second one. But with the 7-1/2' in the living room, the 6 foot in the master bedroom and now this one?
Plus the life sized Deer I bought. Yeah, wait til you see those. I may have to build a second garage for storage.
I saw a very inexpensive polyester wall hanging online one night and took a chance that it would make nice Holiday artwork that is super cheap. It was about 91" long by almost 6 feet high. I cut it into thirds and Greg and I stapled it to plywood to hang it.
I may frame it out next year. But I like the way it looks at night at the end of my table.
The table got decorated with my favorite white dishes and some Target Dollar spot ceramic houses.
I see tons of holiday videos and boy are these things popular. Of course for 3 bucks each, I can understand why. It took me two separate trips to acquire 5. I originally bought them for my entryway, but I wasn't feeling it for that area. So they wound up here.
I hope you're enjoying seeing my holiday tour broken up into rooms instead of one long one. It seems easier for me to do it this way. Leave me a comment below and tell me what you think.
Merry Christmas!
