Master Bedroom Decorated for Christmas

Master Bedroom Christmas Tour

Decorating the master bedroom with Christmas decor has been a goal for two months. Red decor for Christmas is so classically beautiful, I just had to find the right quilt to help it fall into place.

I think I did it.

For me it was so hard to do it because it meant this room had to become a priority. I have a hard time making bedrooms a priority as far as decor, or even making my bed if I am truthful.

There is really only a handful of people who see this room, I think that's why it's so hard to prioritize it as far as spending money on blankets, a new tree.

But I did it! It all started with a quilt I got on online and on clearance for 35 bucks, I think, back in October. It did not have shams that matched. if it does, I couldn't find them after searching online relentlessly. So I found and bought 5 "Santa Sacks", each one was 5 bucks a piece. Way cheaper then any plain red shams!

I was kinda proud of my thrifty idea. Especially since I popped for a new black over-sized blanket for Greg and black sheets.

Plus a new tree, a banner (from the Target dollar bin) a wreath (Walmart) and a gorgeous sign (Kirkland's)

The ornaments and tobacco basket I already owned, along with the flocked garland.

I love the red and black for Christmas so much I spent quite a but, but in my defense, I know we will use it again for many years to come.

Plus the sheets, the black blanket and the E.D. Shams I will re-use with maybe a new quilt or blanket after the holidays.

Not sure yet how I feel about the black sheets. I'll be honest...

Very sexy! But they show every damn dog hair.

That's hard to deal with, even though we do not allow Blitz to sleep with us at night. He has been trained for a few months now to sleep on the floor. But he is allowed to cuddle with Dad when there's a hockey game on. So I still deal with dog hair.

Small price to pay for two happy males who live with a blonde who is constantly redecorating their spaces.
