Black and White Tablescape for Spring

Hi friends, setting a gorgeous black and white table today using things from around the house and some gorgeous boxwood wreaths I've had. It demonstrates how you can use the same dishes over and over on a table and get a completely different look with little fuss!

I had a small intimate birthday party for Greg with just family and decided to see if the same dishes I had in last weeks table, could be used for a different table this week.

He stressed he wanted it to be no fuss and easy and everything I suggested cooking was too much work, so we agreed on just picking up two large pizzas from our favorite bar and grill and calling it a day.

The large black and gold candle holder used to be in the living room. I was surprised to find I don't own a lot of black accessories for this color scheme of table unless you count the rug on my front porch.

Which I almost grabbed, I will be honest!

Hubby's party went off without a hitch and he got some loot he loves. Our oldest daughter bought him some gun cleaning tools and a neat multi use tool for guns. My sister, niece and grand nephew bought him some Chicago Blackhawk's shirts.

He'll be wearing those non stop, believe me!

I used candles and votives plus some faux greenery around the table and am loving how it turned out.

Is there any color that doesn't make black and white look amazing? Because I can't find one.

I can definitely tell Spring is coming here in NW Indiana, the Sun is back! One dreary thing about winter is the sun disappears for months. Well now it is back and pouring into the dining room. Makes me want to get outside and start pruning.

I've also got some hydrangeas that didn't love me back as much as I loved them, so after much deliberation I will be donating them to the plant sale for my local garden clubs I am a member of.
