Lake County Indiana Master Garden Walk House 1

I had the opportunity to go on the Lake County Indiana Master Garden Walk 2019 and jumped at the chance. I took over 100 pictures so I am breaking this Master Garden Series up into several posts so you can see each home individually. 

There were 8 homes in total, I got to see 5. It was about 90 degrees out with a balmy breeze of 2 MPH so when I felt I was done, I was literally done. Done with the heat, the traffic and my stomach whining for food.

All of these gardens I am going to be showing are all in Lake County Indiana and some are actually not Master Gardeners. Which surprised me. I thought you had to be a Master Gardener to be on the tour, which doesn't bother me. I may figure out who to talk to so mine gets on the tour next year!

This home was on a beautiful cozy lot and the owner(s) worked hard to create that sense of layering and pathways that just make you stroll on in and you just want to keep walking around.

I admit I lingered in this yard for about 20 minutes I think and told the owner that I honestly felt like I was being rude if I did not stop by before leaving, and say how beautiful it was.

I also got to linger because I went by myself. The last Master Garden tour I went on 2 weeks ago from a neighboring county I went with Greg.

Which was like taking a male teenager to the diaper store. Or me to the tool aisle in any big box store, after 2 minutes I am ready to move on.
