Lake County Indiana Master Garden Walk - House 4

Hi Garden friends! Welcome to part four of the Lake County Master Garden Walk in Northwest Indiana. This beautiful garden I am about to show you was tucked into a serene and thought out neighborhood, and the homeowner was as sweet as could be!

The stately and colorful evergreens just drew you right into the backyard. As soon as I saw them mixed with white hydrangeas I knew I was home. I also knew thought was put into this yard as well as a personal touch.

The back of the house had quite a few shady spots to tuck in and just enjoy the view. I loved it from every angle.

I loved talking to the homeowner, she is such a bright and positive soul. A cancer survivor whose husband built her this house and gave her a view out of every room.

I loved all the winter interest this yard had. I could imagine tons of christmas lights and a home filled with grand kids waiting for Santa.

I know, I'm corny. It's a gift. The porch extended the entire length of the house with wonderful seating and dining areas.

That was house 4, four houses down one more to go on my tour. As mentioned before in previous home tours, I cut my garden walk short due to heat and hunger.

House 5 will go live probably on Monday.
