Adding a seasonal wreath or a holiday one is a statement of your likes and dis likes. It's literally the front door welcome when people come to your home, so it needs to reflect your style.
So when I saw a wreath that literally took my breath away on Grandin Road Website, I had to have it. Until I saw the $150 price tag. I made a mental note to break down the components of this wreath and why I loved it.
1. It was glamorous for Halloween.
2. It was ghoulish
3. You didn't see these types of wreaths on everyone's front door.
In my area up until I joined a Garden Club, a lot of people I come into contact with still have kids living at home and everything is all cutesy and fun and mesh. Mesh Mesh Mesh! Now don't send me a mesh gremlin, but cutesy is not my taste. While shopping at the At Home Store I found a lot of the components of the wreath I loved. I found a plastic feather wreath perfect for outside, plus skulls and chains. JoAnne's had the silk flowers I needed to finish it off. So, below is my version of a feather, magnolia and skull wreath. I hope you like it!
I wired the chains too and also hot glued them to the picture so they hung exactly as I saw in my mind.
