Christmas Lights
Lighting up our home for Christmas is something I look forward too every holiday. I can honestly say we have inspired our neighborhood too. When we moved in, no one had lights outside.
Now about 5 other houses are joining in by stringing lights outside and I love it! If I had my way, our neighborhood would be completely filled and there'd be a group tour of our holiday spirirt!
I started some containers back in October, so those are filled with live plants and holiday decor and a metal sign as well. Which saved me about $100 dollars, because driving into the parking lots of every big box store, live greenery with a bow was now fifty bucks instead of clearance prices.
Which is what I paid.
They don't sell them anymore. They sell different brand which is different length as well. I wasn't willing to spend the $$ without time to test things out.
Lately there are newer lights coming out (from different companies) and the colors are off from what we bought in 2018 and warm white isn't warm white it's pinkish white.
Which after being pushed and shoved by holiday shoppers, makes my eye twitch.
I keep telling myself that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and then yell in my head: mine are still bigger and lit up.
I am done with decor in and outside and have started wrapping presents as I finally got the last of the shopping done for both gifts and food.
The last tour I will be giving will be the living room, so please come back for that! I will be editing those photos today and getting them up as soon as possible.
Merry Christmas!
